چکیده

Pro-environmental behaviour (PEB) helps individuals to minimize the negative effects of their actions on environment; for example, by recycling and reducing energy consumption. This study aimed explore consumers’ attitudes trust in energy-efficient household appliances environmental eco-label knowledge determine how these may affect pro-environmental (PEB). In addition, examined mediating attitude green proposed frameworks relation consumer behaviour. PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling) was applied a from Bangladesh examine hypotheses data generated 1510 valid respondents relating experiences using products. The results showed that knowledge, attitude, all significantly correlated with mediated relationship between also found positively affects attitudes, those serve as significant mediator An IPMA (importance-performance matrix analysis) map indicated total were more important defining consumers than trust. To best authors’ this research introduces first time an empirical survey provides new theoretical framework regard context developing country. Suggestions are provided ways promote energy-saving practical perspectives.

University Students’ Subjective Knowledge of Green Computing and Pro-Environmental Behavior

This cross-sectional survey examined the structure of university students’ subjective knowledge of green computing–hypothesized to be a multidimensional construct with three important dimensions–and its association with pro-environmental behavior (PEB). Using a previously validated green computing questionnaire, data were collected from 842 undergraduate students attending ten different public ...

Inertial cues do not enhance knowledge of environmental layout.

Several sensory modalities besides vision are available to people as they move through an environment, learning where things are. For example, sensory information about linear and angular acceleration (i.e., inertial information) has been shown to be useful for maintaining orientation in a room-sized space. Because noise in inertial systems can compound over time and over extended travel, it is...
